Showcasing two of its recently introduced medical grades, Styron joined more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 13,000 attendees on March 13-15 in Stuttgart, Germany at the 2012 MedTec Europe, the largest rendezvous for the medical manufacturing industry in the continent.

As a first-time exhibitor at this key conference and tradeshow, Styron leveraged its presence to meet with players across the medical device manufacturing value chain and stress its long-term commitment to the industry with such flagship brands as CALIBRE™, EMERGE™, CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ and MAGNUM™. Styron's presence at MedTec Europe also coincided with the 25th anniversary of the introduction of radiation stabilized CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ medical grade resin.

At its tradeshow booth, the Company featured the newly introduced CALIBRE™ MEGARAD™ 2091 Polycarbonate Resins with improved color compensation technology and the new EMERGE™ PC/PET 9500CR Advanced Resins with superior resistant to harsh chemicals used in cleaning powered medical equipment. Along with these new product introductions, Styron also highlighted an enhanced service model, which include a Medical Sample Stock program that aims at accelerating new customer assessment of Styron core and new medical grade resins and blends.
