Berwyn, PA, February 14, 2014 – Styron, the global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, today launched an enhanced external website for its Plastics business segment. The website was refreshed to support Styron’s business growth in high performance plastics and visibility with customers while reinforcing the Company’s brand and market position.
“Our external website -- Styron.com -- is a critical communication channel for the company,” said Catherine Maxey, Vice President of Public Affairs, Sustainability, and EH&S. “To many of our visitors, it is their first experience with Styron and our objective is to make sure that customers, prospects, distributors and partners get the information they need, engage with us, and leave with a positive experience.”
Website content and navigation enhancements have been made to the Products and Industries & Markets sections of the Plastics website. Notable changes include a breakdown of Styron products by polymer type, literature that is more accessible, and a breakdown of products by application type and region. We also feature sustainability more prominently throughout.
Projects are also underway to translate the entire Styron corporate website into German and Chinese.
